Colegio Delibes first opened its doors in 1997 on the first floor of number 21 Avenida de Italia. It operated under the name of the limited company FRICSA 97 S.L. In 2003, it expanded its infrastructure with more classrooms and a ground floor with a mezzanine, which enabled the creation of several offices, further professionalizing its areas, as well as providing a library and a Castilian-style courtyard that gave students a larger recreational space.
At the end of 2018, after much hard work, Colegio Delibes relocated to Plaza Julián Sánchez el Charro, in a building owned by the institution. The center is located ten minutes on foot from the Plaza Mayor, in a square with gardens, trees, and green areas, in a fully restored building with three floors and an attic. The ground floor houses the reception area, accounting, administration, management, and marketing offices, along with a faculty room equipped with all the necessary materials and furniture for their roles: computers, photocopiers, fax machines, telephones, etc. It also includes a notice board with student information, coffee machines, cold drink dispensers, a snack machine, a conference room for 60 people, a cleaning supplies archive, restrooms for girls and boys, and an outdoor patio providing access to the school.
On the first floor, there is a kitchen and multipurpose room, a library, restrooms for boys, girls, and an adapted restroom, along with six classrooms and a small inner courtyard.
On the second floor, there are eight classrooms, restrooms for boys and girls, and a storage room for materials.
On the third floor, there are eight classrooms, restrooms for boys, girls, and an adapted restroom.
The attic features a space for teachers with a kitchen, terrace, and a material archive.
All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning and interactive whiteboards.
The center is characterized by a truly international atmosphere and a comprehensive program of extracurricular activities, most of which are free.
Over time, Colegio Delibes has committed to an educational responsibility by improving in many areas, such as enhancing infrastructure with the purchase of the new building, creating high-quality materials with ten books published by the center and provided to each student upon arrival, acquiring digital whiteboards for the classrooms, improving employment contracts, and implementing a single working day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
